Zurück zur ÜbersichtCarinthian economy @ NAPA ports Furnitz, May 13, 2022. An exciting network trip on the subject of logistics ended with a visit to the NAPA ports of Koper and Trieste. What remained were great conversations, many new impressions and impressive pictures of two of the most important ports for Carinthia’s economy. Important contacts were maintained during the 2-day delegation trip organized by the Carinthia Chamber of Commerce and new economic ties were established in favor of the further development of the logistics hub Fürnitz. Above all, relations with the NAPA ports are to be intensified in the future. For the NAPA ports in particular, the Fürnitz hub and dry port are of the utmost importance as a hinterland hub. Above all, the port of Koper is to be more closely integrated into the LCA-South network. What pleased us was the official announcement by the port authority of Trieste that the planned rail customs corridor, which the LCAS is coordinating, is about to be completed by the Italian customs authorities. An apt summary of the trip, documented by the ORF team, can be found here: https://tvthek.orf.at/profile/Servus-Sreno-Ciao/8179756 Below are a few impressions of the conversation-intensive trip (from top to bottom: arrival at the port of Koper with LCAS Managing directors Udo Tarmann and Julia Feinig-Freunschlag, arrival in Trieste, discussion about the customs corridor with Vittorio Torbianelli, Secretary General of the Port Authority of Trieste and LCAS managing director Julia Feinig-Freunschlag, Port mole VII Trieste, Marine Terminal Trieste) PreviousPrevious post:Carinthian economy meets logistics – illustrious visit to LCA Logistik Center Austria Süd NextNext post:Starting signal for the EU project 6G-SKY – kick-off meeting in Ottobrunn|Munich
