Raben BEXity GmbH @ transport logistic 2023 München

HELLO MUNICH! HELLO TRANSPORT LOGISTIC 2023! WE’RE COMING…AND WITH US LOTS OF CONCENTRATED LOGISTICS KNOW-HOW!

Raben BEXity GmbH, which is based, among others, at the logistics hub Fürnitz|Villach. We would like to introduce the company to you:

We move what moves you! This is the motto of the logistics service provider and guarantees a comprehensive network and logistical expertise for transports throughout Europe. In addition, Raben BEXity offers individual warehouse logistics and picking services for the safe storage and reliable compilation and provision of goods and products for transport.

Added to this are more than three and a half decades of experience in the logistics industry: the general cargo network has existed since 1986. BEXity was the first logistics service provider to be able to offer its customers a nationwide 24-hour service. The team feels deeply committed to this tradition to this day.

The large transport network is complemented by many storage locations that can be seamlessly integrated into the company’s transport services. Thanks to the affiliation to the Raben Group network with 160 own locations in 15 European countries, Raben BEXity is the ideal partner for Europe-wide transports.

These transnational networks and well thought-out distribution systems enable a seamless and economical connection between procurement and sales markets. This guarantees that the goods arrive at the right place as quickly as possible.

That sounds really good. Would you like to find out more about the Raben BEXity group? Then simply visit https://www.bexity.com/ or even better: visit us at our stand at the transport logistic 23 trade fair in Munich. You will find us in hall B5, booth 232!

To get in the mood for the meeting, here are a few lively words about the company, presented by Erwin Gosch – Sales Manager at Raben BEXity GmbH:

Mr. Erwin Gosch, you have been at home in the world of logistics for a very long time. Was it clear to you from the start that you would one day be a sales manager for a freight forwarding company?

Yes, that was always clear to me as a 100 percent sales representative. I’ve been with the company for 30 years and have always had sales activities for over 20 years, including area sales, as a key account manager, head of key accounts and finally head of sales, and as such I try to pass on my experience to young colleagues, because in the Sales, network and years of customer experience are priceless!

Is there a specific industry that occupies the majority of your customer segment?

Yes, we as Raben BEXity are the undisputed national market leader in the white goods industry – there are not many white goods customers/suppliers who do not use our service, including coordinated customer processes.
In my opinion, a few figures prove the market leadership:

  • approx. 400,000 shipments per year
  • approx. 1,200,000 packages per year
  • approx. 46,000 tons per year

Let’s get to the topic of “green logistics”: How important are gas/electric trucks for you? Or where do you leave your ecological footprint, with rail transport? What other measures are you taking to protect the climate?

For us as Raben BEXity, this is very important. We are the only general cargo service provider in Europe that still transports our general cargo shipments from location to location with covered wagons in single wagon traffic on a daily basis.
We serve a total of 5 locations of our transport logistics (Vienna-Inzersdorf, Wels, Salzburg, Innsbruck and Wolfurt) with wagons, that is about 3000 to 4000 shipments daily, which are not transported in the main leg on the road, but CO2-neutral by train. We can still promise our customers a transit time of less than 24 hours from Vienna to Vorarlberg. In addition, this means up to 22.3% less CO2 equivalent per shipment.

Finally, what is the first thing you do when you walk into your office?

The first thing I do when I come into the office is to greet my employees, have a coffee chat and then boot up the computer.

We would like to thank Erwin Gosch for the insights into the company. Very exciting.
