All projectsEvaluation of real estate development of a “Alpe Adria Food Hub” Austria’s southernmost logistics hub, the LCA-Süd, is working on the development of a modern Alps-Adriatic food hub in Fürnitz. LCA Logistik Center Austria Süd GmbH, the location agency of the logistics location of the same name, has been working for several years on developing the location into a food hub. Several projects are currently underway, including the construction of a warehouse for food logistics, for which there is already a potential investor and operator. The different areas of this food logistics center are designed to meet the needs of frozen, fresh and perishable products with particularly flexible temperature solutions and cells that are optimally adapted to even the most special requirements. An area for dry food is to round off the offer and make the LCA-Süd the hub for food logistics. LCA-Süd, and thus also the future Alps-Adriatic Food Hub, are strategically located in Central Europe, right at the intersection of two major European transport axes – the Tauern axis and the Baltic-Adriatic corridor, and offer their partners all the solutions that are necessary for advanced, logistical management of agricultural and food products. The official location agency of the Carinthian logistics location is currently surveying the necessary areas for the different product groups.
