DDG is the shortcut for Die Deutsche GVZ-Gesellschaft mbH, the umbrella organization for freight hubs. DDG, based in Bremen, promotes supra-regional cooperation between freight villages (GVZ), especially in the areas of combined traffic, development of a logistics-oriented range of services, intensification of location marketing and harmonization of performance standards as well as the development of sustainable models for sponsorships for the development and operation of GVZ. Since 1993, DGG has functioned as a communication platform for the exchange of experience on service and supply structures in the German and European freight transport centers. DGG is active in research and consulting projects at home and abroad, for example in the development of GVZ in the member states of the European Union. Together with DGG, LCAS is developing tailor-made solutions for the Fürnitz logistics location with the aim of developing the hub in the heart of the Alpen-Adria region in a sustainable, continuous and future-oriented manner, growing and gaining long-term autonomy.
